On the T.V. show Jerseylicious, Gatsby Salon, Glam Fairy and Anthony Roberts Salon all competed to get a spot in the First Annual New Jersey Fashion Week 2010 held at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange. Donella Tilery, producer and co-founder, sought the talent giving the competitors their opportunity. Jack Panico, co-founder as well, hosted the NJ Fashion Week. Jack is also the owner of Panico Salon and Spa in West Caldwell. Donella partnered with New Jersey Life Health & Beauty Magazine and raised thousands in ticket sales for the breast cancer charity Susan G. Komen For The Cure North Jersey Affiliate. Designers include, Elene Cassis, who has a 60's inspired look for her line, Malak Atut’s had Mediterranean-inspired jewelry designs, Darius B. Gibbs, menswear designer and creator of Fusion Apparel, Kahri Anne Kerr who's collection was amazing with her so-right-now collection of short, sparkly, structured dresses and military detailing and Thomas Lavone a Newark native, who's design was worn my Mrs. New Jersey Claire Szucs-Pavlinec. Thomas is an award winning designer with an impressive resume that includes freelancing for DKNY and Victoria Secret.
